Step One for Lips like the ladies of TV Show The Bachelor:
Exfoliate. Yes you definitely need to scrub off the dead skin cells on the lips at least weekly. The lips are very delicate skin tissue and need gentle treatments. This step actually can be done every other day as long as you choose a gentle, safe, natural exfoliating scrub. My recommendations will be included at the end of this article.

Step two to lips like the ladies of TV show The Bachelor.
Use a moisturizing treatment, Nutri Lips from Nutrimetics by Avalla,  as a protective barrier for the lips which, also helps to prevent bleeding or feathering of lipstick later on. Simply apply a small amount to lips and allow a minute or two to absorb before proceeding with the rest of lip care.

Sometimes, we need a little boost to help us with our weight loss regime. The New Year usually brings on new goals, lists, must do’s, must have’s, resolutions of things to stop doing too.

You’re probably like me planning out the year this month and trying to prioritize it all. It’s worth taking the time to reflect on what worked last year that you should keep doing, what didn’t work out so well and how to change it all for success this year. How do you do it?

I personally try to find some quiet and alone time to reflect, meditate, visualize and dream BIG.

Then I start my list of goals and a plan of action for my daily events to make the dreams a reality. I take it one step at a time for ’success by the inch’ is my motto. As long as I do something every day for my own growth and the growth of my business as well as my company, then I know I’ll reach my goal. It may take a little longer than I like at times but, I try to not ever let things get me down. Keeping my chin up, a smile on my face and moving forward daily is working.

I created a list of positive affirmations that I read aloud daily before starting into the nitty gritty of the day. I like reading it with my coffee in the morning, it seems to help me wake up well!

I’ve got a dream board that I keep photos and words of all the things I’d like to see happen for my year, if you don’t have one yet give it a try. It’s really very helpful to put it all out there in front of you to help you stay focused on the big picture and also to keep you on track of the daily things that need done to reach the big picture.

This year my business is expanding already so I know that with the right focus and determination, I can achieve that promotion to two levels that I’m looking for. It’s just a matter of continuing to do the things that I know work, totally eliminating the things that take me backwards instead of forwards. Learning from lessons seems to be something we all need to do for success in life and also recognizing that failure is not an option.

It’s going to be a terrific year for loads of things and for so many  people. I’m glad 2009 is done and I’m looking forward to all the challenges this year will bring and all the new friends I will meet along the way.
